Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the BeMyCourier apps and website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What BeMyCourier is

BeMyCourier is a marketplace that connects people who want to send items (“Senders”) with people travelling to the same destination (“Travellers”). BeMyCourier is not a carrier, freight forwarder or customs broker, and is not a party to the agreement between a Sender and a Traveller.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate information and complete any verification we request.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Sender responsibilities

• Describe items accurately and declare their true contents and value.
• Never send items that are illegal, dangerous or restricted. See What you can send.
• Allow the Traveller to inspect the item before hand-over.
• Cover any customs duties or taxes unless agreed otherwise in writing in the app.

4. Traveller responsibilities

• Inspect every item before accepting it and refuse anything you’re not comfortable with.
• Comply with airline, security and customs rules for your trip.
• Take reasonable care of items in your possession and deliver them as agreed.

5. Fees and payments

Travellers set a delivery fee. Senders pay that fee plus a BeMyCourier platform fee shown before the offer is accepted. Payments are processed in the app by our payment partners. Do not arrange payments outside the app.

6. Cancellations and refunds

If an order is not delivered to its destination within the agreed time, the Sender may be eligible for a refund under our money-back guarantee. Contact support from the order screen to start a claim.

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes, to harass other users, to circumvent fees, or to transport prohibited items. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, BeMyCourier is not liable for the acts or omissions of users, or for loss, damage or delay of items, beyond the amounts covered by our money-back guarantee.
